This 1868 old Farm House was the home of the Groggens & the Crooks. .From 1975 and until 2000 turned to a restaurant and was known as the Marietta Cupboard serving
authentic Southern food. From Aug 2000 and until 2004 was known
as The Back Porch Bar & Grill. From
2005 and on became Niks Place.This old hoouse is probably the only one in Marietta area operate as bussines
outside the Square and to some it is a reminder of a bygone Era in today’s corporate world . As of me,
being a newcomer to Marietta (since 1994) and coming from an Ancient City as Athens Greece I have learn to
appreciate and admire the craftsmanship of the past and love the History , Nostalgia and Character old places can offer.
